Your draft is not training data
I'll say that plainly, because it's the first thing every writer asks and most tools answer it in a footnote.
Your manuscript is stored privately, your result link is signed and private, and nothing you send is used to market anything to anyone or to train anything.

Why I built this
I'm Tom Collins. I built Your Book Pro after watching too many people carry a book around for thirty years without ever starting it.
Not one of them was short of material. What they were short of was somebody sitting beside them asking the right question at the right moment - which is what a good editor does, and what almost nobody can afford at the beginning.
So I built the beginning. It's free, because the beginning is where people give up.
Questions
- Is this a real edit?
- No, and I won't pretend otherwise. It's a fast, AI-assisted read of your opening - the kind of first reaction you'd get from a sharp reader, not a full editorial assessment or a proofread. It's genuinely useful and it's genuinely not a human edit.
- Will it try to change my voice?
- It doesn't rewrite anything. It describes what it sees. Every decision after that is yours.
- Why only 5,000 words?
- Because your opening decides whether anybody reads the rest, and because a free tool that reads 90,000 words would either be slow, expensive or lying. Five thousand words is enough to see what a book is doing.
- What if it says something I don't like?
- Then read it twice and decide. Feedback you agree with immediately usually wasn't worth much. Feedback you resist is worth sitting with for a day.
