A friendly digital Editor is there to help too. It reads what you've written and gives you kind, encouraging feedback — a well done for the bits that work, and gentle ideas for what you could try next. You're always the author; the Editor just cheers you on and helps your book get even better.
3. Ask a grown-up
Give your grown-up's email so they can say OK and keep your book safe.
For grown-ups
Children can start writing straight away in this browser. We keep the work for up to 7 days while you approve it. We don't ask children for their date of birth, address, school, or phone number. Once you approve, the book joins your account and the child can keep writing on their own device with a private link. Read our privacy page for details.
